Real Estate isn’t Wills’ first career path. While one of the things he is most proud of is completing a full career in Law Enforcement, he takes the diligence, integrity, and passion to serve and pours that into his real estate business model. He can’t help it! Knowing your time sensitive deadlines and double checking facts along with people’s goals is something he will forever take with, after his service in the Coast Guard and then his retirement from the force; this guy knows something about fully listening to his clients concerns and looking at situations from all angles to get the job done!

Retirement from the force was what drove him into making Real Estate his next career, however,  he is no stranger to the industry. His parents being the biggest influence to him as a child, it would make sense that he would lean towards this industry as his mom, who was a Realtor, enjoyed what she did even though he remembers that this could be a paycheck to paycheck career. However, after experiencing the excitement of taking his first client out to look for houses, and the happiness of submitting his first accepted offer; to the pride and honor he experienced being able to hand over the keys to that clients new home and the relief he expressed to Will for his help, only helped confirmed that making someone else happy is completely worth any sacrifices in paychecks.

Will’s biggest influence when it comes to working in any field is a coworker from his time in law enforcement named Mike. From him, Will learned the concept of ‘teaching, in bettering and uplifting people is the true sign of a leader and a guide’. You see, because Mike was quite a bit older and more experienced than Will; he could have been threatened by him and therefore not have taught him all the skills that eventually helped him advance even past Mike. That influence of selflessness and admiration of true strength and wisdom as a leader is what he takes with him when he is working with a client. It’s not about Will, it’s about what Will can do to help his clients. It’s the client before the transaction, and we want to thank Mike for that.

Having two children of his own and gaining two children with his lovely Wife, Laura; their major goal in parenting was to make sure the children are prepared for life. As a couple they are proud to say, even though it is an evolving job, the kids are off to a great start with all four of the children enrolled into some facet of the military and a few starting their own families. Will can now say the goal has been extended to his new grandchildren, and we think he will do great by his family. With the nest now empty and reaching retirement a move to Idaho made the most sense. Growing up always loving off road racing made Idaho a playground of adventurous trails and gorgeous landscape for Will. With Idahoans welcoming spirit and Wills’ friendly nature, it was a no-brainer that he has joined in several of the off-round ATV clubs that the Treasure Valley has to offer. Now, he is able to enjoy his passion while discovering all of his great state.

Sundays you can find Will and his dogs at his custom home in Boise County. Most likely enjoying some Blue moon out on the patio while reflecting on his time singing in a band, working on his goal of learning to play guitar, or possibly thinking about traveling the world. Make no mistake, as a client or a friend you can trust that if you need him for anything he is sure to be there! That’s because people that meet Will can tell you – he is dependable and a hard worker that places his ethics and commitment to complete a task until the end at the utmost importance. Though Will would love to have the super power of mind reading, because his favorite subject in school being psychology. The next best thing to mind reading is listening and knowing the right questions to ask in order to be present during his client consultation and throughout the entire process.
